My Week in Stick Chicktivity - 01/15/21
Let's dive on in, shall we?
In the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup, we worked the block-check-counter drill, leading into the two vs. one "pokey" drill. This stuff leads us into being able to play tapi-tapi, so we're very much in the Modern Arnis side of things lately.
At Elite Dragon, we had some new students, so while Mr. Chick helped the rest of the class on disarms from block-check-counter, I worked with our new students, teaching them the classical 12 angles of attack from Modern Arnis.
Nice, productive martial arts week for us.
Tuesday: Four Hand
Wednesday: Training in the Time of COVID-19: Part 11
I'm not updating or very active personally on Facebook or Instagram any more. Our MeWe page is the new home of TSC online, but I also update on Tumblr and Pinterest. Come join us on those social media channels, will ya?
As an aside, the MeWe page is running "Standoff Saturday" questions and martial arts memes on Sundays, just like we did on Facebook. So if you liked my Facebook page, you'll like the MeWe page... and you'll actually SEE IT.
We've got some merch! Come check it out here.
I'm going to attend the Progressive Arnis Winter Camp in Orlando, Florida! You can too! Details on FB HERE.
The Chiefs play this weekend against the Cleveland Browns in the first game (for us) of the playoffs, so everything here is ALL ABOUT the Red and Gold. Luckily, we timed our Meetup to get you out in time to watch Chiefs games (which is very important here).
Oh, and it's snowing here in Kansas City today. One big reason I moved back is for snow.
Y'all stay safe (and warm), have fun, and keep training.
