TRAINING:
In the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup, we worked the block-check-counter drill, leading into the two vs. one "pokey" drill. This stuff leads us into being able to play tapi-tapi, so we're very much in the Modern Arnis side of things lately.
At Elite Dragon, we had some new students, so while Mr. Chick helped the rest of the class on disarms from block-check-counter, I worked with our new students, teaching them the classical 12 angles of attack from Modern Arnis.
Nice, productive martial arts week for us.

FRIDAY THOUGHTS:
The Chiefs play this weekend against the Cleveland Browns in the first game (for us) of the playoffs, so everything here is ALL ABOUT the Red and Gold. Luckily, we timed our Meetup to get you out in time to watch Chiefs games (which is very important here).
Oh, and it's snowing here in Kansas City today. One big reason I moved back is for snow.
