TRAINING
Had a great time at the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup on Sunday!
We brought our "toolbox" of stuff - staves, hatchets and tomahawks, tonfa and sai, and all sorts of stuff that can take a beating - and we interpreted our "Defensive Responses" with these weapons. We played with what happens when you have one weapon, when you have a long one or a short one, or two unequal ones, and talked about how things are similar but are also very, very different tool to tool. Everybody had a blast and we'll be sure to do that again soon.
Monday at Elite Dragon Presas Arnis class, we reviewed our form - Anyo Isa (stick form 1) - and then we started working triangle footwork in with our supported blocking. Very happy with the progress on Monday nights!
