My Week in Stick Chicktivity - 10/12/18

Hoo boy, this was a big week, huh?

It rained for five days straight here in Kansas City, and now the temps have dropped back to fall levels and I'm one happy camper. Trees are really starting to turn and yet again I'm reminded how nice Autumn is in Kansas City.

Oh, and this blog moved to new digs, soooo, yeah.

How was your week?

TRAINING

We got stormed out at the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup on Saturday morning. We would have trained with the rain but the lightning and the fact that the shelter has a metal roof made us decide it was too risky, so we went to a donut shop and geeked out about about martial arts for an hour and a half.

Y'know, like you do.

No fresh photos of me training this week, so here's one from a few weeks back. You can tell because I have hippie hair in the photo.

So with the move to a new software and server, I'm not going to re-share old posts any more. Instead, I have come up with a list I will be updating and re-publishing fresh on the new Stick Chick Blog.

I am SO gonna miss Google Plus. Met lots of cool people from around the world there.

FRIDAY THOUGHTS:

Rain is letting up (finally - it's the 2nd wettest October on record and it's only 1/3 of the way into the month), and it's getting cooler, so our Saturday Meetup is gonna be AWESOME. You can see our Meetup schedule on the "Friends of TSC" page of this blog, by the way.
