We're half-way done with 2019. Yikes.
TRAINING:
Due to our facility being booked with the Hock Hochheim seminar, and the fact that it poured down rain much of the weekend (we are on track for the wettest year on record here in KC) so we couldn't move to outside, it meant we had to cancel this week's Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup and I DID NOT LIKE IT.
I did some forms work on my own but nothing - NOTHING - beats the smell of burning rattan. Plus I was felled with a pretty intense migraine this week - and that was the first big one in a long time, soooo... yeah. Not the greatest training week ever.
Tomorrow's the first Heartland Arnis Players Alliance gathering and we had a cancellation - so I'm on the bill! Come join us if you're in the Kansas City area, will ya? We have a Meetup about it (click HERE) as well as the Facebook event (HERE).

FRIDAY THOUGHTS:
It was so fun doing 13 FMA gatherings with MAPA in Dallas-Fort Worth, and I hope that our HAPA 1 Gathering is the first of many, many, MANY to come. Here's to hoping we can get a lot of visibility to the FMA community in Kansas City this weekend!
