TRAINING:
I missed Sunday's Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup session due to illness (this weather and allergies are killing me, y'all).
On Monday night at Elite Dragon, we took a session to just beat the heck out of the bags. Hitting bags is a great way to correct striking problems, and we all got a great workout, too. I'd do bag work more often if we had more classes in a week!

My teacher, Mark Lynn, will be teaching three kobudo forms at Elite Dragon on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15. Of course I'll be there. He's going to join us at the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup on Sunday, May 16, as well, and we plan to train until we just can't any more that day!

FRIDAY THOUGHTS:
My "dance card" of martial arts stuff is starting to fill up, and for me, that makes the future a lot brighter than it's been in a very long time. I'm ready to get back on the mat with old friends and new.
