My Week in Stick Chicktivity - 02/22/19

February's fading fast, y'all!

TRAINING

Last week I mentioned that I have started DDP Yoga. I did that again this week.

I finally got some progress on Presas Arnis I've been wanting to get to on Tuesday. I'm working through the World Modern Arnis Alliance curriculum and I got some questions answered, which helped a lot.

BLOGGERY

Monday: THAT GUY: The Philosopher

Tuesday: Have You Registered Yourself as a Deadly Weapon?

Wednesday: 3 Ways to Get Hurt - or Hurt Others - in the FMA's

Thursday: 11 Common Questions about the Martial Arts - Answered!

You can find the Stick Chick Blog on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and MeWe, and hey, I've got a Pinterest board too. Google Plus is gone, daddy, gone.

Note: ANY links to the old blog published before 10/10/18 that you run across online are now broken. They're as dead any beliefs that the Groundhog prediction for an early spring are true (snow in Las Vegas this week? Wow!)

OTHER NEATO BURRITO STUFF

WOW. Check out the smaller boy's skill. Incredible.

Well, if you're going to do the time, you might as well make the crime COUNT, y'know? (PSA: I am not saying DO CRIMES, okay?)

Our Showdown Saturday question is still available if you want to chime in: How do you feel about point sparring?

This video made it into just about every martial arts feed and group online this week, and I'm still not sure I see a problem. 😁

FRIDAY THOUGHTS

Since Younger Kidlet started back in school in January, she has yet to have a full five-day week of school, due to holidays and snow days. It looks like finally next week will be the first full week unless we get ANOTHER snowy weather event (I think we're almost done with those though - I'm not complaining because I like winter weather, but still).

Hope your week ROCKED.
