My Week in Stick Chicktivity - 04/03/20

It's April, finally!

TRAINING

Delivering training via video has been an interesting experience.

I think we've done a good job of sticking to material that can be done solo, and while I have no way to verify what they're doing, I have confidence our students are practicing at home.

After all this is over, we might keep a supplemental video session going (maybe on Wednesday nights like I've been doing) to help everyone stay connected and engaged.

Just a thought, don't know if that's going to be a thing yet, or not.

My teacher is putting out a ton of content as well, so that's helpful for my personal training.

I was supposed to be in Texas this weekend, I'm not in Texas this weekend, and yeah, I'm still upset about it.

OTHER FUN STUFF

Nobody, and I mean nobody, is impressed when a technique works on a stubby ol' woman like me. So when I get chosen...

So if you follow me on Facebook you know that I post a martial arts meme on Sundays. I collect these memes over time and save them up to use at a later date (much like the one above).

This one, I have no use for as a stand alone Sunday meme, but wow, it's something that I should adopt as a personal motto:

The fact that it looks like somebody made this in neon is just... awesome.

FRIDAY THOUGHTS

Trying really hard not to be a big ol' bummer here, kids. I've been super-busy at work so I'm going to spend the weekend 1) doing blog work 2) training from the videos my teacher has made and 3) napping.

I like naps.

Y'all please stay safe and healthy, find a way to train, and have as much fun as you possibly can.
