My Week In Stick Chicktivity - 11/22/19
Let's roll. No, not that kind of rolling, I mean that in the generic...
Oh, never mind. Anyway...
This week started well, training-wise. Not only did we have fun at the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup, but we did some "senior time" with our friend Harley Weibling for much of the afternoon, just training on things and nerding out. Sunday was awesome.
Then a migraine hit on Monday, and I was not in a condition to drive so Mr. Chick covered class at Elite Dragon Martial Arts. I'm so glad I've got him as a back-up!
So yeah... good, and bad.
Monday: Roots and Branches
Tuesday: The Gaps
Wednesday: Dead or Alive (Blades)
Thursday: One Awesome Thing About Sticks
Come train with me (and a lot of really awesome teachers) in January in Tampa! I'm one of several awesome instructors at the Women's Martial Arts Symposium.
OTHER FUN STUFF:
I didn't create this image, but DAMN, can I relate to it.
Let's not overthink this, and it totally applies to women, too. And I would point out a knife is just a very short sword.
I'm under the weather (picked up a cold after that migraine yaaaay) but I hope to be in tip-top shape for the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup this weekend. The Chief aren't playing, so maybe I'll just take it easy and get ready for family coming in for the holiday next week.
Y'all stay safe, have fun, and train hard.
