Got some forms practice in, which is good, because I need it.
Sunday was our regular Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup. We had a new Meetup member, so I worked with her on the basics - angles of attack and single sinawali. She caught on really quickly and I hope she'll stick, as she seems like a natural!

FRIDAY THOUGHTS:
Tornado season has been ROUGH this year. Yes, the tornado that hit Kansas City this week did pass right over my house. It wasn't rotating when it did - it formed west of me, passed over me, and re-formed northeast of me. WILD! And yeah, about 10 minutes before it reached my town, we were out listening to the sirens and looking at the sky. That's the Midwest for you.
Oh, and one more thing: Let's Go Blues!
