I am so glad we're at Friday. Let's roll.
In northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa, and Western Illinois there's a geological formation called the Warsaw formation, and lots and lots of geodes are found there.
We went with some friends up to the area and brought home a ton of geodes. We haven't cracked a lot of ours yet, but we found some pretty neat rocks on the trip.
So I didn't train much over the weekend, between being on the trip, and needing to recover from the physical strain on my hip.
Wednesday: The Martial Arts Instructor Bill of Rights
Thursday: The State of the Chick - May 2021
My teacher, Mark Lynn, will be teaching three kobudo forms at Elite Dragon on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15. Of course I'll be there. He's going to join us at the Kansas City Presas Arnis Meetup on Sunday, May 16, as well, and we plan to train until we just can't any more that day!
If you're interested in the Oyata lineage of Okinawan Kempo, you gotta attend this virtual seminar. Link is HERE.
Meet me (and Mr. Chick) at this awesome seminar in Nashville, TN! Learn more and register HERE.
If you can't make it to Missouri on the last weekend in June, perhaps you can make it to the Progressive Arnis Spring Camp in North Carolina? Details HERE.
I've also booked my flight to attend the World Modern Arnis Alliance Remy Presas Memorial Camp in August (event on Facebook HERE).
I said I was happy Friday is here because it was a physically and mentally demanding week. I should have taken an extra day of vacation! Glad I'll be back to training this weekend.
Y'all stay safe, have fun, and keep training.
