Some time ago, some footage of a demo and other recordings of the founder of Modern Arnis, Remy Presas, was published on the Facebook page of the Masters of Tapi-Tapi.
It's pretty incredible footage of a demo filmed in October, 1975, which was very early days for Professor in the United States. The cool thing is that it not only has footage of another big name in the FMA's, GM Max Pallen of Sinkoteros Arnis, but also footage of the actor Dean Stockwell - yes, that Dean Stockwell - participating in the demo.
It's really cool stuff.
I'm using today's post as a way to archive links to the footage on Facebook, and to share some gifs I made from those snippets of video, in case you want to share it around. It's great footage and I'd love to see it make the rounds more. I'm grateful to the Masters of Tapi-Tapi page for first posting it.
