What have you been up to this week?
THE WEEK DAY-BY-DAY:
Saturday: Lots and lots of kobudo practice in the morning with a touch of Arnis, then our final kobudo class before our black belt test. It was a pretest... and yes, I'll be testing for sure in November. It might have been my strongest class ever. All that practicing is paying off, lemme tell ya. Now I gotta knuckle-down and get in more before test day!
Sunday: Chores, kobudo practice, and my mighty Chiefs finally fell to a foe.
Monday: Arnis at Hidden Sword. I warmed 'em up showing them different ways to play with sinawali patterns they already know. Then we worked on empty hand "pokey" drills.
Tuesday: Took younger daughter to class at Hidden Sword, and practiced kobudo.
Wednesday: My day off.
Thursday: Watched my Chiefs lose in a heartbreaker.
Friday: Stick sparring at Mid-Cities Arnis, as is our wont.
|No new pic of me this week. This shot from last week will have to do.|
Here's the new posts or reshared older posts I sent out this week:

FINAL THOUGHTS OF THE WEEK:
Today we're driving about 3 hours south to Bryan, TX (aka College Station) to attend the Texas Modern Arnis Coalition (TMAC) Fall gathering. Four hours of Modern Arnis-y goodness, and it's FREE! Going to play with some really awesome folks and learn lots.
You can come if you're in the area - here's the Facebook event with the details. See you at 10 am!
So what did YOU do this week? What did you train? What did you teach? Did you see any really cool martial arts stuff online? Let me know!
